Our Mission

Expats & Locals is all about creating a space where expats and locals can come together, connect, and share experiences. We focus on building real, meaningful relationships by hosting casual meetups that encourage everyone to engage in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Our Story

Founded in December 2023 in Breda in the Netherlands, Expats & Locals started with just 5 people and a simple idea: to bridge the gap between expats and locals. Since then, we've grown rapidly, with up to 60 participants attending our events. In August 2024, we expanded to Amsterdam, followed by a launch in Tilburg in October 2024.

Unlike other social groups, Expats & Locals focuses specifically on bringing together two distinct communities—those new to the area and locals who want to connect. This combination creates a dynamic and diverse environment where people from all walks of life can meet, share experiences, and build lasting friendships.
